Chargers Injury News: Bolts Defense Getting Huge Boost for Sunday’s Must-Win Game vs Vikings
USA TODAY Sports

Chargers third-round rookie linebacker Daiyan Henley will finally make his NFL debut tomorrow for their showdown against the Minnesota Vikings.

Henley has dealt with a hamstring issue since the end of their preseason games, which caused him to miss the first two games of the 2023 season.

Now, he is back, and he gave us a sneak peek of his defensive prowess during training camp and preseason. LA selected the 23-year-old with the 85th pick in the 2023 NFL Draft from Washington State.

The Los Angeles native will get to represent his hometown, but it'll have to be on the road in front of a hostile Minnesota crowd and team seeking their first win of the season.

In his final season as a Cougar, Henley racked up 106 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, four sacks, and one interception. He set to bring his firey play and tenacious defense to the Bolts. If he can perform half of what he did in college, it will undoubtedly boost the Bolts defense significantly.

We cannot wait to see how he performs in his first-ever pro game.
